Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025 The DECK’s Myakmyak Report Vol.6
This is a follow-up blog to Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025 The DECK's Myakmyak Report vol.5
We’re back with the 6th edition of The DECK’s Osaka-Kansai Expo report! This time, we’re sharing the highlights from our popular event “Go with The DECK! Osaka-Kansai Expo Tour” organized by The DECK! (Please note: The event has already ended). This tour is for those who thought, “I am curious about the Expo, but a little nervous going alone…” So, The DECK staff joined to create a relaxed and fun Expo experience. We took a leisurely tour of the vast Expo grounds with international participants, on a route that did not need reservations, but was still eventful.
Starting the Expo with the biggest smiles!
The Expo grounds were packed again that day!
Our group met up in two parts: one departing from The DECK, and the other gathering at Yumeshima Station, the closest station to the site.
We held up big signs, to give the feeling of being on a tour, ensuring that everyone could spot us easily.
Yumeshima Station was packed with people, but everyone gathered safely, and the tour officially began!
The happy smiles on everyone’s faces added to the excitement.
Even Non-Reservation Areas Were Super Fun!
The first-time visitors at the Expo were amazed by the “Grand Roof Ring”. It is the main symbol of the Expo and is recognized by the Gunness World Records as the world’s largest wooden building.
There is a route at the very top called the “Skywalk” where you can walk around for 2 km.
We went up to the Grand Roof Ring and got a full view of the Expo grounds! The fresh breeze blew through and felt great!
We also took some good photos at the classic photo spots
A Little Trick to Get into the Pavilions
All of the pavilions were super popular with long lines… but there is a little trick!
If you have a passport from the country of the pavilion, you may be given priority access.
This time, a member from Spain had brought his passport, and thanks to him, we all got fast-tracked into the Spain Pavilion!
Having international friends really does pay off! If you have friends from abroad, try going to the Expo together!
The Spain Pavilion was a powerful exhibition with the theme of “sea”. It was perfect for taking photos!
Visiting a DECK Member’s Booth
We wrapped up the day with the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion, where a joint booth was hosted by Nara Medical University, T.R.A., and Hologram Co., Ltd (a member of The DECK).
We were able to try out cutting-edge technology called cartilage conduction. Everyone was amazed at the revolutionary earphones that let you hear sound, even underwater!
In addition, we got to speak directly with a DECK member involved in the product’s development.
It is really exciting to see our community’s everyday connections shine at a global event like the Expo.
Some Final Thoughts
We all thought, “How amazing would it be to get together years from now and reminisce about this day as DECK members?”
And “I wouldn’t have felt confident going alone, but with the staff, I felt safe!”
Or “The Expo is huge, but going with a group made the time fly bye!”
Also, “I naturally connected with the international participants and had so much fun!”
This tour was another example of the connections that The DECK offers. If you’re nervous about going alone, it is a perfect opportunity to join us!
The DECK will continue to plan Expo tours that are safe and easy to participate in!
Next tour will be the “Night Expo Tour” scheduled in July.
Please feel free to join us, we look forward to seeing you all!
