Photos of the rooms and activities you'll experience

The unbelievably luxurious suites feature a kitchen, living room, bath, and laundry facilities in each room. You can live like you're at home for a week. Which room will be yours is a surprise until the day of your stay. The temple's head priest is also part of the hotel staff! During your stay, you can enjoy coworking at the temple, try calligraphy, or experience prayers. Yoga activities are also optional.

A community manager who will be there for you

Hi everyone, and welcome! I’m Kazuna, the community manager. Join us in Shirahama for a unique nomad experience, surrounded by the ocean and stunning nature. I’m also a photographer, so I’ll be capturing plenty of fun moments for us to remember. I can’t wait to meet you and share this special time together!

Born in Kyoto and based in Shiga, Kazuna also spent part of her childhood in Wakayama. At the age of 26, she became an independent photographer and later expanded her career to include work as a creative director and community manager. In 2021, she co-founded @ world, a community for travel-loving freelancers. Hello! I’m Mari. I am a designer and director living a life with travel. While spending time in Wakayama, I hope to share wonderful experiences together, surrounded by nature and the local culture.

As a freelancer, I mainly work as a designer and director. I have traveled for a year both within Japan and abroad as an “address hopper,” including periods of van life. I also continue to take part in workation programs, both in Japan and overseas.
