Since The DECK is a coworking space that specializes in supporting entrepreneurship, digital nomads who are thinking about starting their own businesses in Japan joined us!
On Friday 14th March 2025, The DECK hosted the Mochi & Fresh Veggie Party!!

🎉 Mochi & Fresh Veggie Party 🎉

Hello, everyone! ️
Today, we threw a super fun party with a “mochi and fresh veggies” theme! 🌿🍡
With a great mix of international members, the atmosphere was lively and full of energy.

🍡 Mochi Heaven!

The star of the show this time was definitely mochi! We prepared all kinds of delicious varieties to satisfy everyone’s taste buds. Here’s what we had:

• Melt-in-your-mouth Warabi Mochi (so soft you can almost drink it!)

• Zunda Mochi – creamy and nutty with a hint of sweetness

• Black Sesame Mochi – rich and aromatic

• Koshi-an Mochi – smooth and sweet red bean paste

• Three-Color Dango – cute and colorful

• Mitarashi Dango – sweet soy sauce glaze perfection

The biggest hit was the Warabi Mochi from Honren Kashi Suiren Isshin!

🌿 Fresh Veggies Straight from Our Indoor Garden

We also showcased some fresh, home-grown veggies from our hydroponic system!
Our harvest included karashina, red amaranth, and basil. We turned them into:

• Vibrant Fresh Salad

• Fragrant Basil Pasta

• Delicious Caprese

• Refreshing Herb Lemonade

The veggies were so tasty even raw that some people couldn’t help but munch on them straight from the garden! 🌱

🌏 Fun and Lively International Vibes

With members from all around the world, it was a great chance to share food and stories while having a blast.
Some of our international friends tried mochi for the first time and loved it! It’s always awesome to see how food can bring people together.
