Digital Nomad Week Osaka 2026 Spring - The Hideyoshi Legacy: Deep Osaka & Connection -
🏯 Build Your Base in Japan: 10 Days to Find Your "Home" in Deep Osaka
This isn't just another sightseeing tour. This is a 10-day immersive journey designed to transform you from a traveler into a local, giving you a true "home base" in Japan.
By the end of this program, you won’t just have beautiful photos; you will have made lifelong local friends, built deep business connections, and gained a profound sense of belonging in Osaka.
To help you build this community, we will use the legacy of Hideyoshi Toyotomi who is one of the most famous SAMURAI as our guide. Over 400 years ago, starting with nothing, he united Japan not with swords, but through unmatched communication skills and the "Tea Ceremony" (the ultimate networking tool of his time). He was, in essence, Japan's first great "Community Manager."
Through exclusive tea ceremonies, historic street explorations, and deep dialogue with locals, we will reflect on how Hideyoshi’s ancient philosophies connect to your modern digital nomad life.
Join us to secure your remote work base, experience the "Real Japan," and find a community you can always return to. Your next big move starts here.
🌸 Program Highlights
1. Welcome to the "Grand Hanami" (Apr 2, Thu)
Kick off the week under the blooming cherry blossoms at Osaka Castle Park. Inspired by Hideyoshi’s legendary "Daigo Hanami" (the most lavish cherry blossom party in Japanese history), we’ll share lunch, drinks, and stories to build our global family.
2. A Sacred Blessing for Nomads (Apr 3, Fri)
Visit Ikasuri Shrine, relocated by Hideyoshi himself to the heart of the merchant district. Dedicated to "ASUHA," the guardian deity of travel and safe footing, this is the perfect place for Digital Nomads, who are international remote workers. Experience an authentic Urasenke Tea Ceremony in this sacred space to cleanse your mind and pray for your future journeys and business success.
3. Time Travel via Retro Tram & Culture Immersion (Apr 9, Thu)
Ride the historic “Chin-Chin” tram, boasting over a century of history, and soak in Osaka's retro townscape. Upon arrival, we will team up with our amazing local host, Genki, for a historical walking tour.
Get ready for an exclusive, up-close visit to a traditional blacksmith's forge to witness the intense art of Japanese knife-making. Afterward, we will visit a local knife museum for a very special session: hearing directly from a French artisan who has dedicated his life to mastering Sakai's traditional knife-making techniques!
Finally, we’ll head to Genki’s traditional Japanese-style cafe, “anywhere cafe.” Experience cooking rice using a classic wood-fired stove (Kamado) to make your own original Onigiri (rice balls). We'll end the night with a live Shamisen performance and a massive networking party with the locals!
