Zane's Recent Project

Zane, who goes by Street Jizo, is a designer, event curator, and visionary trying his best to “inspire people to forge their own paths.” He is originally from the US but has been living in Japan for over 5 years. He recently stopped by The DECK to utilize the FAB Lab laser cutter for his newest project.

Zane's work as a designer revolves around merging traditional Japanese silhouettes with contemporary elements, as he aims to bring a fresh perspective to the fashion industry and encourage individuals to express their unique identities through their clothing choices. Zane believes that fashion should be more than just a superficial expression but should also reflect one's intentions and aspirations.

After discovering our co-working space through a mutual friend, The DECK has played an integral role in his life in Osaka. Over several years at The DECK, Zane has worked on a podcast, consistently utilized the FAB Lab, and become close friends with our staff members.

He shared that having “access to high-tech equipment like the laser cutter has been great for my creative projects,” and developing close connections with the staff has been invaluable. As he continues his path of creation and inspiration, Zane is grateful to have the welcoming community at The DECK and access to the cutting-edge technology that helps bring his design ideas to life.
