Saturday 30 March 2024, 11am at The DECK. The DECK representative Tomo Morisawa will take you all by train to Asuka Station. Lunch must be completed before attending.If you join us without lunch, there is a shop on the Asuka Village Cycling Course where you can buy refreshments and eat them during your break.

2024年3月30日（土曜）朝11時The DECKに集合してください。The DECK代表森澤が皆さんを連れて電車で飛鳥駅までご案内します。ランチは済ませてから参加してください。もし、お昼ご飯を食べずに参加された場合、明日香村サイクリングコースの途中に売店があるので、軽食を買って、休憩の時に食べることができます。

Course:Asuka Station → Takamatsuzuka Kofun Tomb → Ishibutai Kofun Tomb → Asukadera Temple → Asuka Palace Site → Asuka Station

Arrive at the station at 4 pm and return the rental bikes.Fill in the questionnaire and take a group photo.Wait at the Tourist Association for Chief Ono to arrive.

4時に駅に着き、レンタサイクルを返却します。アンケートに回答したり集合写真を撮ったりして明日香村役場から小野課長が到着するのを飛鳥観光協会で待ちます。

The inn has a tasteful bathtub made of Kayanoki wood and an aromatic bathhouse made of hinoki cypress, but there is only one bathhouse.

宿には栢木でできた風情ある湯舟と檜で作られた香豊なお風呂場がありますが、1つしかありません。

As it gets quite crowded when 11 people take turns to enter the baths, go to the large baths in Asuka Village in the evening to complete your bath.

一緒に宿泊する11人が交代で入るとなるとかなり混むため、夕方に明日香村の大浴場に行きお風呂を済ませましょう。

Chief Ono will drive you from Asuka Station to the main baths.

明日香駅から大浴場までは小野課長が車で送迎してくださいます。

Chief Ono will also provide transport from the main bathhouse to the old-fashioned inn Yasaka.
大浴場から古民家宿の「弥栄」にも小野課長が送迎をしてくださいます。

Now, wait for it: an old house with a history of more than 270 years has been converted into a lovely hotel.

さぁお待ちかね。270年以上の歴史を持つ古民家を改修したお宿「弥栄」で、想像以上に素晴らしい体験をしましょう。

あなたが一晩泊まる宿はこんなところです。日本家屋の美をご堪能ください。

Are you excited by the photos? When you arrive at your accommodation, connect to Wi-Fi first. If you can use the internet, you will be relieved for a moment.

写真を見てわくわくしましたか。宿に着いたらまずWi-Fiに接続してください。インターネットが使えたらひとまず安心しますよね。

The innkeepers, Mr and Mrs Nakajima, put a lot of effort into serving you dinner and breakfast.

宿主の中島夫妻が腕によりをかけて夕食と朝食をふるまってくださいますよ。

In the evening, a buffet-style buffet offers a variety of dishes with plenty of freshly picked vegetables from Asuka Village. Choose your favourite meat and vegetable dishes.

夜は採れたての明日香村産野菜をたっぷりつかった様々な料理をビュッフェ形式で。好きな肉料理、野菜料理を選んでください。肉は大和肉鶏を使っています。

Alcohol is available for a fee. Craft beer called Okuyamato Beer and delicious sake from Nara Prefecture are available for purchase. Tea and other soft drinks must be provided free of charge.

アルコールは有料で販売しています。奥大和ビールというクラフトビールと、奈良県産の美味しい日本酒を購入することができます。お茶などのソフトドリンクは無料でご提供いただきます。

Breakfast is made with fresh, strong-flavoured eggs. Japanese people love to eat rice with eggs.

朝ごはんは新鮮で味の濃い卵を使った卵かけごはん。日本人は卵かけごはんが大好きなのです。

The inn also has a bath, so those who want to warm up on their own are encouraged to enjoy the baths made of cypress and kayanoki wood. Toothbrushes and towels are provided.

宿にもお風呂があるので、ひとりでゆっくり温まりたい人はぜひ檜と栢木でできたお風呂を楽しんでください。歯ブラシとタオルの用意はあります。

At dinner time, the villagers come in droves to meet you. They want to tell you a little bit about Asuka, of which they are very proud. They also want to share their dreams and visions and discuss any difficulties they are experiencing.

夜ご飯の時には村民たちがぞくぞくとあなたたちに会いに来て一緒に宴会を楽しみます。彼らは彼らが誇りに思う飛鳥の魅力を少しでも伝えたいと思っています。そして夢やビジョンを共有し、今困難に感じていることを相談したいと考えています。

The main visitors will be those who work in the accommodation and travel industry.

主に宿泊業を営む人や旅行業を営む人が来てくださる予定です。

Now, at 8pm, the Asuka Theatre Troupe ‘JIKU' will perform a historical play that took place here 1,400 years ago.

さぁ、夜8時になったらあすか劇団「時空」一行が1400年前この地でおこった歴史舞台を上演いたします。

‘The Taika Reformation’, a historical scene in Japan, is packed into 20 minutes. The company members practised for a year to perform the play in English. There may be parts that are difficult to hear, but please watch the play with a warm heart.

「大化改新」という日本の歴史的シーンをぎゅっと20分に詰め込みました。劇団員が1年かけて英語で上演できるよう練習を重ねました。聞き苦しい部分もあるかもしれませんが、どうかあたたかい気持ちでご観劇ください。

この旅を監修したのはThe DECKのFumi。劇団時空の劇団員でもあるのです。

**The next morning, breathe in as much of the mystical air of Oku Asuka into your body. Time for a digital detox is also necessary for modern people.**
翌朝は奥飛鳥の神秘的な空気を体にたくさん吸い込みましょう。デジタルデトックスをする時間も現代人には必要です。
**Our lodge is located in a village called ‘Kayanomori’. A stroll through the village will take you into a Ghibli-like world. Your own story may begin.**
私たちの宿があるのは「栢森」と呼ばれる集落です。集落を散策するとジブリのような世界にであうことになるでしょう。あなただけの物語が始まるかもしれません。

**Find and photograph cherry blossoms as well as spring flowers and plants. Listen to the babbling of the stream. We are really happy to see the same scenery and feel the same air as you.**
桜はもちろん春の草花を見つけて写真を撮ってください。小川のせせらぎを聞いてください。あなたたちと同じ景色をみて、空気を感じることができることが本当に嬉しく思います。
Check-out is at 11am, but Fumi's mother will pick you up at 10am, and you will be driven by Fumi's mother, Fumi's car and the wife of the owner of Yaei, to the Ishibutai Kofun, the most famous tourist attraction in Asuka Village.
チェックアウトは11時ですが、10時にはFumiの母が車で迎えにきます。Fumiの母の車と、Fumiの車と、弥栄の店主の奥さんの車で、明日香村で最も有名な観光地「石舞台古墳」へ向かいます。
**There is a square at the location, where an outdoor festival is held. Yayoi shopkeepers also exhibit their shops. They may be selling delicious food at their stalls.**
その場所には広場があり、そこでアウトドアフェスが開催されています。弥栄の店主もお店を出展しています。出店で美味しいものを売っているかもしれません。
Those who want to return to Osaka early will be driven to the nearest train station.　Those who wish to take their time to explore the area can stay in Asuka Village. There is a bus service from the square to the nearest train station, so you can return whenever you like and Fumi will stay with you until the end.
早めに大阪に戻りたい人はFumiの母が最寄り駅に車で送ります。ゆっくり周辺を観光したい人は明日香村に残ることもできます。広場から最寄り駅までバスが出ているので好きなタイミングで帰ることができますし、Fumiは最後まで一緒にいます。
